The Huron School District is committed to educational excellence for every child and is pursuing accreditation status through AdvancED.  AdvancED is the unified organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), and National Study of School Evaluation (NSSE). 

Accreditation through AdvancED meets the standards and requirements set forth by the  South Dakota Department of Education pursuant to the new Administrative Rules 24:43 .
